  1. Is very funny the new concept of sustainable tourism, many agencies will try to tell you that this kind of tourism lies in travelling to the countryside, to the villages or the mountains, to believe such a lie is an huge mistake . Our new agency will teach you how to practice this kind of tourism, our guides will not only come with you to lead you, they will make a great effort to dont let you damage our environment, in the hotels you will suffer water restrictions just as the local people, the energy will be provide by solar energy panels, we will always cook in our restaurants with pressure cookers and the rubbish will be mainly recyclable, the price is only a bit higher than in the other agencies, but isn´t it worth it for our environment? Learn how to live travelling with our agency.

  2. Thanks Patri,

But, what could offer a hotel in order to be environmentally friendly? Do you know any? Any website? Could you add it here?

  3. Our agency is firmly convinced that only with the practice of sustainable tourism, we can aboid the deterioration of our planet. That is why we only offer to our clients accomodation in hotels that follow the recomendations of the World Tourism Organitation.
Bearing this in mind, our hotels are built respecting the environnment in which they are placed, they used no drinkable water for the cleaning and garden´s watering, they used solar energy panels, they recycle rubbish, they employ local people not only for the cleaning and cooking, but also in the administration service,
they provide prepared people in order to guide our clients on how to respect and best enjoy the customs and way of living of the people in the place and they reinvest part of their benefits for the improvment of their towns and cities.

Whith our trips you can enjoy a special experience, know the local customs and be careful whith our planet. The most enviromentally responsible hotels are in our big hotel chain.

  6. Nowdays "sustainable tourism" is a concept too much repited, but, do you know exactly what it means? The best way to know it is visiting "Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park", situated in Almería (Spain). There you will find the paradise, where environment is living with the human. The touristic offer is always focus in sustainability (balance: economical-social-enviromental). Hotels, restaurants, activities, all of them try to get this balance. And there is an eco-certificate for this kind of establisments.
Have a look in this website (it is made by me): www.fiapa.es/DirEco/principal.htm

  8. I am Elvira
Are the words "repited" and "establishments" written wrong?
I suppose it is repeated, but I can not find the right term for "establishments", perhaps I could change it by companies or business, could I?

  15. I think that it's a bit late, anyway.

I think that in a city maybe could be more difficult to take measure to be respectfull with the environment. However, I think we could do things like: not to take any vehicle, I mean, just to use local transport. Inside hotels, no to use elevators, some kind of water measure with the purpose to not waste too much useful and necessary water. But mainly, I think hotels and travel agencies must be give some rewards to encourage people to participe in this matter we're talking about.

    Kind regards,

    Paula
