  3. Hello, María! I think that never is too late, so I´m gonna add me to your blog if I can.
First of all and in my humble opnion to say that it could be La Alhambra and more concretly El Patio de los Leones in Granada.

  4. Hello Maria, I agree with you that you and your friend were visiting one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is called The Lions Patio (Patio de los Leones)in the Alhambra Palace, Granada. Close to the Alhambra Palace is the Generalife Gardens, both places are obligated for tourist that visit this city.

  5. Hi all,

It is obvious the the answer to my questions was rather easy... however, since the purpose of this blog is to improve your writing, have a look at this article about Granada to know more about how to describe in English this wonderful place: http://www.travelmag.co.uk/article_1136.shtml

  6. Last time I visited La Alhambra, I was about seven, so I can´t clearly remember this event.
I could describe the picture as an small square watched by four stone lions that keep the peace throught the walls of the monument.
Because of the age I was at that time, I remember a room in wich I could speak trought a wall and my sister could answer me from the other side of the room, the tecnology of a telephone made out of yogurt packages and thread.Thats sadly my memory to post about the most beautiful place in the world, but know Im thinking about visiting it again now.

  7. That building is The Alhambra, it is situated in Granada, in the south of Spain. The Alhambra is composed by some buildings like the palace and the Alcazaba, whic is a military zone. I was there a few years ago and it was fantastic. It is a beautiful place to visit which is surrounded by large and green gardens.I would like to visit it again.

  8. Hello, I’ve read the article about Granada that you had proposed
and it was difficult i think beacause the words used were not ordinary
and I’ve had looking for them in the dictionary often, also the construction of
    phrases, metaphors … not easy.
However I liked it , even though I didn’t understand wholly,
example: “The over-all effect is a little like looking at a giant
and rather tasteless hand knitted cardigan.”
The next task (or job?) will be better I hope.

  9. I believe that you visit Granada, but i can't know what kind of tourism have you made, because you can be there in a trip (working) or doing a tour, visiting many places around Granada.

  10. That photo is La Alhambra, the most beatiful place that I has been in my life. I was there tree week ago, and I have got a lot of photos.
I thought that it was smaller. I was walking three hours!

    It´s really nice.

  11. I'm sorry, José Carlos, but La Alhambra, I think, isn't the most beautiful place because in Andalucia we have hundreds beautiful places. (It's a joke) I'm from Sevilla, you know. So you're right that La Alhambra and other monuments in Granada are fascinating, as the Carlos V Palace. But we mustn't forget Córdoba, Sevilla, Cádiz, where the sun has a special brigt, Jaén and the Guadalquivir source. I could tell you many beautiful places in Andalucía; i'm very proud to be born here.

  12. The photo is "El Patio de los Leones" in the Alhambra. This was an Arab palace that is placed at Granada. I think it's a beautiful place and it is very well preserved although for example "El Patio de los Leones" has been closed to the visitors because the lions was damaged. But in Spain there are very beautiful places, not only at the south; at the North there are great countryside and lot of mouments.

I was in Granada two years ago wuth my family (my husband and my son). We could not see the lions because they were restoring it. We couldn't make us pictures with the lions. We could have liked to have that memory. Maybe next time.
