ReplyDeleteMine without honey, please, I don't like it! I prefer marmalade!
In Majorca there is a typical Easter break recipe: Panades. But now, I suggest another easy dessert for these days: Robiols. They are like half moons stuffed. The most typical stuff is angel's hair, cottage cheese, chocolate or marmalade.
Ingredients: 1200gr flour, 200gr lard, 2 eggs, 1 spoonful of sugar, 200gr icing sugar, 10-15cl olive oil, 7cl water, 1 pinch of cinnamon and the stuffed.
How can you cook Robiols? very easy!
Separate the whites from the yolks of the eggs. Put only the yolks in a bowl with sugar, lard, oil and water. Mix all ingredients. Add the flour and the cinnamon. Mix again. Let stand for a half an hour. Expand the dough and cut circles about 10cm of diameter. In the center of each circle, put a spoonful of the stuffed do you prefer. Fold in half and close the border with a fork. Bake for 30 minutes (180ºC). Then, let to cool them and sprinkle them with icing sugar.
I hope you like my recipe!!
